Civil Engineering

A civil engineering major encompasses the planning, designing and construction of today’s most widely used roads, facilities and water systems. Students will study different factors of the design process, such as construction materials, costs and environmental hazards, as well as government regulations and project management. Throughout the program, they will develop problem-solving skills and new ideas for improving environmental issues like pollution, traffic congestion, waste management and limited supply of resources.
